The lollowing links will provide vibration data for more than 2000 hand-held power tools and 60 vehicles
The database is hosted by a web server at the National Institute for Working Life North, Umeå, Sweden. Between 1 May 1998 and 30 April 2001, this assignment was a part of activities within the EU BIOMED 2 Concerted Action Programme, "Research Network on Detection and Prevention of Injuries Due to Occupational Vibration Exposures", (contract No. BMH4-CT98-3251 DG12-SSMI)
The database contains vibration data for either CE-declared values (i.e., vibration measured in accordance with corresponding parts of the ISO 8662 standard) or measured according to ISO 5349 during normal operation at a work site. CE-declared noise data is also included for many tools of the former category.
The National Institute for Working Life is a national centre of knowledge for issues concerning working life. The Institute carries out research and development covering the whole field of working life, on commission from The Ministry of Industry, Employment and Communications.
